Job Summary

The instructor teaches the following programs as part of their teaching assignment. Their job is to provide training and critique the qualifications of students and perform enough hands on and theory so that students are qualified but not certified to perform testing as a level II in the following methods: Radiographic Testing, Liquid Pentrant Testing, Eddy Current Testing, Ultrasonic Testing & Magnetic Paricle Testing.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Follows the course curriculum outline, prepares and delivers lectures and other classroom activities.
2. Keeps accurate classroom records.
3. Coordinates Student ADA accommodation requests following college policy and procedures.
4. Answers questions about the course.
5. Follows SLCC policies and procedures.
6. Supports department assessment initiatives.
7. Meets College and department deadlines and evaluates student work in a timely manner including submitting final grades on time.
8. Completes required training and attends department meetings.
9. Demonstrates and supports professional commitment to division, school, and college mission and values.

Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

1.Applicable Associates Degree.
2. Level II qualified in the methods of Radiographic Testing, Liquid Pentrant Testing, Eddy Current Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Visual Testing & Magnetic Paricle Testing.
3. Six months experience teaching DCMA classes.
