Job Summary

Part-time Instructor to teach computer/technology courses for the TANF Grant program. Applicants are entered into an applicant pool and will be contacted as teaching opportunities become available.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Computer Workshops are taught using a short-term, hands-on learning environment. Topics include multiple software applications including MS Office, MS Windows, Internet, social media, and basic computer usage.

Provide interesting and relevant projects that demonstrate solutions to common work place problems.
Provide feedback for student projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Industry certifications for Microsoft

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a related area.
Additional related work experience may be substituted with one-year full-time work experience equal to one year of the required education.

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.
