Job Summary

Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons at Salt Lake Community College athletic events. Provide assistance in seating inquiries, event information.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Overall responsibilities would consists of but not limited to:
Provide assistance at entrance and exits of athletic venues.
Knowledgeable of rules and regulations pertaining to athletic venue.
Ensure each patron is treated kindly and provided the best possible customer service
Assist patrons in emergencies
Ensure fans are behaving in a cordial, sportsmanship-like manor

Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued
Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in event management
Guest relations experience
Eighteen years of older

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate or GED.
Ability to work nights, weekends and come holidays

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Communication skills (written and oral)
Problem solving
Able to lift 30 lbs
Complete College Mandatory staff training
Work flexible hours
Report to work on time
Civility and urbanity are essential attributes of the incumbent

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, staff and patrons including those with disabilities and special needs.
