Job Summary

Assist Admissions Office with scanning, data entry, filing, and other office projects or functions as assigned. Assist with student inquiries in person, by email and phone.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Sort, file, image, index and shred college admissions documentation. Other duties as assigned.

Comfortable with computers and learning new computer programs. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, responsible and be able to work alone or with others. Must be able to work with confidential student records.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with BANNER and NOLIJ database preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

-Must be awarded Work Study
-Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.

Work study is awarded to SLCC students through the Federal College Work Study program, which requires establishing financial need through the FAFSA from the Financial Aid Office. If you do not have work study awarded to you, you will not be eligible for work under work study positions.

Salt Lake Community College may complete a criminal background check on the finalist.
