Job Summary

Driver to deliver The Globe Student newspaper in an early morning shift from 5 am to 7 am on Wednesdays or late night (10pm to 1am) on Tuesdays.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

This position delivers The Globe student newspaper and related products to distribution points both on and off campus on Tuesday nights or Wednesday morning. Whichever best fits your student schedule. Must be in good physical condition/able to lift heavy loads. Must demonstrate ability to wake early and start shift on time.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Valid Utah Drivers License.
Must pass SLCC Driver Safety Training course and have clean driving record. Must demonstrate reliability through reference check.

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.

4-8 hours per week.

Work-study is awarded to SLCC students through the Federal College Work-Study program, which requires establishing financial need through the FAFSA application from the Financial Aid Office. If you do not have work-study awarded to you, you will not be eligible for work under work-study positions.

Salt Lake Community College may complete a criminal background check on the finalist.
