Job Summary

Provide quality customer service to patrons and assist with routine library operations.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Circulation duties including assisting patrons, checking library materials in/out, searching for materials, shelving and maintaining stacks. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

-Must be approved for Work Study.
-High School Diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to use a computer, including different software packages. Knowledge of Dewey Decimal System. Able to process basic circulation transactions. Ability to deal with a variety of people. Good customer service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.
