Job Summary

Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons at Salt Lake Community College athletic event concession stands. Provide assistance in ordering, preparing, inventory, and accounting for the concession stand operation.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Overall responsibilities would consists of but not limited to:
Help in the preparation of food production
Stock concession stand with inventories
Assist with food cost and overall quality food produced and sold
Observe, record, and adjust labor needs and food production needs in an effort to keep costs down and service exceptional
Provide ordered food items to customer in a timely manner
Communicate to management any and all issues that pertain to concessions
Assist in budget responsibilities and balance cash register
Keep concession stand clean and neat
Knowledgeable of rules and regulations pertaining to Lifetime Activities Center.
Ensure each patron is treated kindly and provided the best possible customer service
Other duties as assigned

Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued
Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in food services
Guest relations experience
Eighteen years or older

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate or GED.
Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Communication skills (written and oral)
Problem solving
Able to lift 30-50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Knowledge in ordering food inventory
Understanding of the importance of safe and sanitary food handling
Complete College Mandatory staff training
Work flexible hours
Report to work on time

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, staff and patrons including those with disabilities and special needs.
