Job Summary

The successful candidate will work with the technical director and theater faculty and students in the production of plays and presentations within the Performing Arts (Fine Arts) Department.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will work as directed by the technical director and theater faculty in construction, painting, sound, and lighting for department productions.

Preferred Qualifications

Theater major with previous theater performance and/or directing experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Student of Salt Lake Community College and awarded Work Study.

Six months post high school experience working in one or more areas of technical theatre.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Good communication skills, ability to work with others collaboratively, ability to resolve conflicts and/or solve problems.

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.
