Job Summary | Teaches one-to-three sections of lower-division Speech COMM classes. Reports pedagogical problems and classroom management to the Speech COMM department coordinator. Student complaints and teacher absences should be reported to the Division Office. |

Preferred Qualifications | |
Minimum Qualifications | A master’s degree in Speech COMM or a closely-related field and, preferably, experience teaching communication classes at a college level. Graduate students in recommendations of professionals in the program. |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities | Graduate level knowledge (and/or professional work experiences) of communication theory, interpersonal communication, small group communication, organizational communication, argumentation, inter-cultural communication, conflict resolution communication and related disciplines. |
Non-Essential Responsibilities and Duties | Opportunities to volunteer in various capacities in the Speech COMM Department and Salt Lake Community College in general. |
