Job Summary

Part-time Corporate Trainer for the Advanced Composites Technician Training Program.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Teach day and/or evening classes in the Advanced Composites Training Program. Participate in curriculum development and lab enhancement. Participate in marketing the program. Create and maintain relationships with Composites Industry and professional associations.

Preferred Qualifications

Five years experience as an Advanced Composites Industry Trainer or Coach.
Masters Degree preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree required in Engineering or Educational Technology. Two years experience teaching adult learners. Three years experience in the Advanced Composites Industry. Additional industry experience may qualify candidates without the required academic degree.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Experience with pre-preg layups, Autoclave operation, Filament winder operation, Tape roller operation, Laser placement system operation, Pattern cutting table operation, mold-making.

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.
