Job Summary

Under the direction of Senior Signage Specialist, Design and produce College Signage using specialized equipment and processes to comply with College signage standards and Americans with Disabilities Act and specialty signs as required by the campus community. Maintain College signage standards and ADA compliance. Initiate signage and provide training for office technicians. Ability to assist with Key Office duties.
Communicate with customers regarding sign requests and questions, sign design, composition, coordinate sign installation with crafts and vendors, perform signage installation, Follow-up with completion, costs, billing and close work orders, maintain and track budget.

Preferred Qualifications

Two (2) years post high school education/training (60 completed credit hours) or an Associate’s degree.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED
One (1) to four (4) years of direct, paid work experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Able to gain proficiency in the following: Accurately operate Vision 2448 Router, Vision Pro 3D, Gerber GS-15 Plotter, Image Scanner 256, Vinyl Beveler, Key Duplicating Machines, Gerber Omega 5D, Super Pro 3.5; 4.0, Braille (hot dots); Office equipment, small hand tools.

Knowledge of: MS Word/Windows and Excel Spreadsheets. Able to communicate effectively with people; effective customer relations; valid drivers license or able to attain one.

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.
