Job Summary

-Greet Students
-Answer Phone Calls
-Using Banner, verify students have turned in application and paid admission fee
-Seat students for placement testing

-Give students scores when finished testing
-Assist in other areas of department as needed

Preferred Qualifications

HS diploma required, some college preferred

Minimum Qualifications

-1 year office, reception or customer service experience preferred
-Experience working with confidential information preferred
-Experience with SLCC processes preferred

-Basic computer skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Good organizational Skills
-Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
-Dependability and reliability a must
-Must be available to work scheduled hours

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.
